Please note: petrol [and alternative fuels] engine spark plug high-energy electrical / electronics systems can output approx. 10,000 to 40,000 volts [and more].
The manufacturer advises that this tool can simulate up to 10,000 volts. Resister type spark plugs can minimize the perception of a bright-spark during bright-light testing conditions. Use low-light conditions when testing.

HOW TO USE:
Place the spark plug into tester hole 1 or 2; old / new replacement s-plugs can be compared to each other
Check that the s-plug electrode is seated correctly [base of hole / socket]. Check that good contact is made between the s-plug hole and the body of the s-plug
Connect to 12-volt power adapter
Rotate the power switch clockwise to turn on the tester, and view the indicator light
Adjust the working frequency between simulated 1000 rpm to 5000 rpm
The higher the frequency, the stronger the expected spark strength
